Event Elementz has been serving the Greater Houston Area since 2014. Together, Greg and Scott have catered, designed, and seamlessly executed thousands of events during their careers.

Scott Moorman

Scott moved to Houston from Ashland, Ohio in 1996 with a dream to work in Houston’s bustling culinary scene. He started his career in restaurant management with the Valone family and quickly fell in love with the fine dining industry. After meeting Greg 27 years later, Event Elementz was born. Scott got his first big taste in event planning and catering with Greg and was immensely drawn into the world of precise execution and design. This new world was challenging and exciting, but most importantly it gave Scott an opportunity to explore his creativity in the kitchen and perfect his craft. Scott and Greg shared a passion for creating unique event experiences that set them apart from the rest.  Event Elementz then grew rapidly within the River Oaks, Bellaire, West University, Memorial, and Downtown area social scenes. 

Scott’s menus are inspired by his experience in Houston’s fine dining scenes, a dash of authentic Italian influence, and his passion for outdoor cooking techniques. Whether the evenings menu contains a familiar favorite or presents a challenging new twist, Scott is dedicated to creating the perfect dish. Fueled by the challenge, this is the origin to his personal and professional philosophy; “first time perfect”. 

Greg Davis


Raised in Encino California, Greg always had a passion for the performing arts. The drama of the theater, a production’s multiple moving parts, openings, peaks and valleys, cricendoes, pitfalls, and finales, all encompass the art of an event.

Greg moved to Houston Texas in 1994 and found that hospitality and food were a catalyst to his artistic visions. He started his career doing grassroots catering events at the Carrabba’s franchise. After his tremendous success, he used his talent and expertise to start his own event planning company called Gregory Events.

Since 1999, Greg has showcased his productions for several prestigious companies in the Houston area such as the Houston Polo Club, A Fare Extraordinaire, and Jim Benton as Vice President of sales and operations. By the time Event Elementz was born, Greg had made an award winning name for himself in Houston's catering and social scene.

Almost ten years later, Event Elementz has blossomed into a full scale catering and event planning service where Greg and Scott have perfected the art of creating memorable, once in a lifetime productions for their clients. Greg says that, “Now our passion for creating memorable experiences is fulfilled with every Event Element.”
